A novel about zombies and marriage

The zombie plague has come—sort of. It doesn't make people dead, walking or otherwise, but it changes how they behave.

Blake Chase finds himself alone in the mountains with his wife, Angela, when she contracts the disease. Suddenly, the sweet, caring woman he married becomes selfish, impulsive, and rude. She's not eating his brains, but she does eat the rest of their food.

Soon, they're wanted for a murder they didn't commit and hunted by the actual killer. Afraid of being sent to a nightmarish quarantine facility, Angela won't leave the mountains.

Blake can't stay up there and protect her forever, even if she is his wife. There are limits to what a marriage can endure.
